There seems to be a new trend in bloggerville. Naya fashion. Going undercover. Making your blog open to invited users only. Pretty funny that three among the five blogs that I hit today turned invitation-only overnight. Fine, maybe not overnight, but since the time I last visited them. I wonder why. What do you think has sparked the trend? Did the level of privacy invasion spike up suddenly or something? Or is it just plain fashionable?

PS - Bloggers who now have invite only blogs, I have nothing against you, I still love you all. I'm just wondering.

People are either suddenly getting concerned about their privacy or as you say it might have just got in fashion off late :)

Hmmmm.
I wonder why too but then I respect their need for privacy. If my blog went private, I would not want people asking me why and would definitely not want people pestering me for an invite.

BTW, my WOES OF A PSYCHOLOGIST was private but now its an open blog. See...a deviation from the latest trend!

Oh yes, all my respects to the need for privacy. As I said, I was simply wondering :)

So Mr J, is there an application form I need to fill in to get invited?

Solitaire, what made you open your blog up to the big bad world?

HD. My wondering was sparked by the fact that a couple of them went undercover at the same time.

I did not want my clients to read about their stories online. I finally put all those posts in "draft" mode and opened the neutral posts to the big bad world!

J - Email coming up shortly.

Sol - Oh that sounds interesting, client stories. I frequent your Short and Sweet blog but haven't been to this one. I'll check it out.

Mez - Haha, I just read that you are contemplating as well. Keeping up with the trend?
